Burgundy and Christian exposed the students to the profession and practice of law by introducing them to civics, the criminal justice system, and the Constitution. Burgundy and Christian were also able to take the students on a tour of the Nineteenth Judicial District Court and the law offices of Kean Miller. The Institute culminated in a mock trial that was both fun and competitive.
